Founder & CEO, viovio

I have spent my career getting live video and AI decisions to work in the real world: WebRTC running daily on Cruise’s autonomous vehicles, Nuro’s teleoperation stack, and HiHome, an AI system that helps people judge a home. viovio brings those together for hands-on work: a first-person view of the person doing the job, and a copilot that finds the step they need, out loud and mid-task.

Experience

  1. 2026–

    viovio · Founder & CEO

Building an AI copilot for hands-on work on smart glasses: one first-person demonstration streamed live to the room, recorded as an ordered, timestamped record, and searchable out loud, mid-task. Running in two pilot programs.

  2. 2020–26

Nuro · Tech Lead Manager, Teleoperation

Built and led the teleoperation infrastructure team: real-time video, GPU/CPU optimization, cloud and tooling for production autonomous vehicles. Unified LiveKit + WebRTC so commercial partners could operate the fleet, cutting bandwidth from 3 Mbps to 120 kbps and latency from 400 ms to 150 ms.

  3. 2024–

    HiHome AI · Founder

Took an AI decision system for home buyers from 0 to 1 on the web, iOS and Android: a multi-agent pipeline that reads disclosures, reasons about risk and checks its own output with evaluation agents. $40K+ in revenue and a 70% conversion rate at open houses.

  4. 2019–20

    Flivery · Co-founder

Full-stack drone software with autonomous payload tracking and pickup. Backed by Alchemist Accelerator and angel investors.

  5. 2018–19

    Cruise · Senior Software Engineer

Ported WebRTC from Chrome into the autonomous vehicle stack for video, audio and data: proof of concept in three months, then running daily on 100+ vehicles.

  6. 2015–17

Google · Microsoft Research · Qualcomm · Internships

Data-center topology optimization in production at Google, LTE-U and Wi-Fi coexistence research at Microsoft Research Cambridge, and a build-change search tool at Qualcomm. A return offer from each.
